Device Ownership & Condition

  • You confirm that you are the legal owner of the device you are selling.
  • You confirm that your device is not on a payment plan and is free of liens.
  • You agree to provide accurate information about your device.
  • You agree that your device must be eligible for ownership transfer.
  • You agree that we will evaluate the device based on its condition at the time we receive it.
  • You understand that a device marked as "fully functional" must include all original components and accessories in working condition.
  • Batteries must retain at least 80% of their original capacity to be considered fully functional.
  • You acknowledge that your device may be opened during inspection to verify hardware condition, if needed.

Quotes, Offers & Returns

  • All quotes are considered estimates until the device is inspected.
  • We cannot guarantee your final payout will match your original quote.
  • If you're unhappy with the final offer, we will return your device free of charge.
  • We offer free returns in all cases — whether you decline the offer, change your mind, or find a better deal.
  • You agree that your payout cannot exceed the original quoted amount.
  • Once payment is issued, your device will be processed and cannot be returned.
  • No cancellations will be accepted after payment has been made.
  • If we adjust your offer, you are not required to accept it. We will either return your device for free or honor the original quote at our discretion.
  • If market conditions or inspection findings require a change in offer, we reserve the right to renegotiate.

Shipping & Packaging

  • You agree to ship your item within a reasonable timeframe. Delays may result in offer cancellation or price adjustment.
  • If your item is returned, it will be factory reset to the latest version of Windows (where applicable).
  • We are not responsible for any accessories, packaging, or materials beyond the laptop and charger. These may be discarded upon receipt.
  • You agree that shipping materials may not be returned.
  • Default UPS labels include $100 insurance. We are not liable for lost or damaged packages during shipping, including return shipping.
  • If you request a return and want insurance, you must provide your own insured label.

Data Responsibility

  • You agree to erase, back up, or save any personal data prior to shipping.
  • We are not responsible for any data left on the device.
  • All devices are securely wiped and reset once received.

Communication & Timing

  • You agree to check your order status through your Sellalaptop.com account page. We are not responsible for emails that do not reach your inbox.
  • If your offer is adjusted and you do not respond within 48 hours, we will automatically process payment based on the new offer.

Payment Methods

  • If PayPal is selected, you agree to accept any PayPal transfer fees.
  • If Check is selected, you agree to cash it within 90 days. After that, it may be voided.

Legal Terms & Disclaimers

  • We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, pricing inaccuracies, or market-based value changes at any point during the transaction.
  • By using our service, you agree not to access Sellalaptop using automated tools like bots, scripts, or web crawlers.
  • These terms are governed by Minnesota law. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
  • By checking the box “I have read and agreed to the terms and conditions” during checkout, you agree to be bound by these terms.
